Introduction:

A chemical manufacturer is seeking a candidate for the position of Logistics & Shipping Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all inbound and outbound Logistics
• Advocate communication chain with cross-department heads and client's shipping department
• Lead a team in Hong Kong and China to support all Shipment & logistical operation
• Handle quotations for Shipment and follow up with Corporation's Sales Operation department
• Prepare and handle complete set of shipping documents (e.g., I/E shipping documents, customs, freight costs management)
• Develop as well as maintain effective & efficient policies, SOP in all supply chain functions
• Regular review & adjust the delivery schedule to manage delivery costs, on time & space
• Costs controlling for all inbound & outbound Shipment and activities
• Monitoring and handling of all daily operations, delivery arrangements, customs, and customer shipment support and ensure on-time Shipment
• Liaise with internal parties, client's shipping team, factories, forwarder, and overseas customers

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related Shipping / Logistics Managerial position
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations
• Strong understanding of operation process and import/export regulations
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Tradelink or other logistics platform
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, positive and able to work under pressure
