Introduction:
Our client is looking for Infra Project Manager to join their team in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the project delivery
Structure the project and prepare the project charter and Commercial Proposal
Responsible for the project delivery with support of relevant technical experts
Co-ordinate the operational activities of internal and external resources
Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
Works with internal and entity resource managers to ensure the resources necessary to produce the project on time and within budget are allocated to the project
Manage the Project Governance with all Stakeholders
Project Reporting to stakeholders, in line with policies in force
Client Reporting & Project Steering with Business Unit Governance bodies
Management of Risk & Issues to Sponsor/Steering Committee for Mitigation
Control Project budget & resources
Build, with support of relevant experts, Project Commercial Proposal
Monitor & control projects actuals, and update financial forecasts
Define Project resource plan to be shared and agreed with Technical teams
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 – 5 years of proven Project Management experience in the field of IT
Good understanding of IT Infrastructure topics
Significant experience in an international context
Experience in Agile methodology is a plus
Strong interest for IT and willing to work on complex & challenging projects
University degree or post graduate degree level
SKILLS
Technical Skills and Capabilities
Good knowledge of Project Management principles
Excellent track record for leading projects, managing actions plan, coordinating with multiple stakeholders etc.
Experience in managing Project budgets (including staff, hardware and software costs) and providing monthly forecasting and reporting.
Able to challenge stakeholders (clients, vendors, technical experts etc.) to optimize project activities and costs
Good understanding of technical dependencies between Infrastructure & Applications
Experience in one of the field below is a plus: o Data centre infrastructure (Data center evolution projects)
• Workplace & Network
• Integration with external services (payment gateways, authentications systems, security services etc.)
• Public Cloud, Big Data projects
• IT Project managed with Agile methodology
Non-Technical Skills
Strong Customer focus (internal voice of the customer)
Able to lead teams and establish credibility with all stakeholders
Team player
Ability to facilitate meeting of peers, enable discussion that leads toward resolution and communicate results to management.
Action / results oriented, energetic and positive to drive key activities and initiatives to completion that meet the joint goals of Tech and its Clients.
