Introduction:

Location: Rayong, Thailand Salary: 50,000 80,000 THB Working Hours: 6 days a week during the greenfield phase, with alternate Saturdays in later phases.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The Finance and Accounting Specialist will oversee assets accounting, accounts receivable creation, and bill passing for CAPEX and administrative expenses related to the new project. This role involves close coordination with various project teams and cross-functional departments to ensure compliance, proper accounting processes, and timely reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CAPEX Accounting and Reporting:
2. Ensure accurate and timely bill processing for project CAPEX spending.
3. Conduct monthly checks on Asset Under Construction (AUC) items prior to settlement.
4. Coordinate with technical and purchasing teams for invoice collection and payment recommendations.
5. Prepare CAPEX commitments, purchase requisition (PR)/purchase order (PO) status, and weekly/monthly CAPEX reports.
6. Perform reconciliations of movable and consumable assets and manage the allocation and accounting of materials.
7. Oversee fixed asset physical verifications and ensure compliance during asset capitalization, including componentization and useful life evaluations according to company policies and accounting standards. (70%)
8. Coordination and Compliance:
9. Facilitate timely month-end closing activities for the Rayong project.
10. Prepare management information system (MIS) reports as required.
11. Collaborate with site departments to uphold compliance with systems, procedures, and strengthen internal controls. (30%)

Requirements:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting or MBA, with 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, specifically in project and manufacturing environments.
2. Proven experience in a reputable manufacturing company in finance and accounting.
3. Strong understanding of CAPEX accounting and IFRS standards.
4. Proficient in SAP and analytical skills.
