The Strategic Subcontracting & Vendor Relations Manager is a pivotal leader responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle management of all subcontracting and vendor partnerships. This role goes beyond transactional management, focusing on developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, fostering long-term collaborative relationships, and driving continuous improvement in cost efficiency, quality, and project delivery. Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Development:
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize vendor selection, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key strategic partners, including specialized marine service providers, equipment suppliers, and technology innovators.
Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify potential new vendors and subcontracting opportunities.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive vendor performance management system, including regular reviews and feedback sessions.
Develop and implement vendor development programs to enhance subcontractor capabilities and ensure alignment with company standards.
Comprehensive Contract Management and Risk Mitigation:

Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential subcontractors and projects, identifying and mitigating potential risks related to cost, schedule, and quality.

Project Integration and Performance Optimization:
