Introduction:

Our client, a famous Japanese brand in digital entertainment and AV products is inviting high caliber candidates to apply the the subject role.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and build relationships with reliable parts suppliers in SEA and China.
2. Negotiate favourable terms to ensure competitive pricing and superior part quality.
3. Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining the highest part quality standards.
4. Monitor quality, troubleshoot and guide improvements at product production sites.
5. Overseas business trips (China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, India, Vietnam, etc.)

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree or above
2. Good communication skills
3. Work experience in procurement, especially electronic parts and cable procurement, and able to negotiate costs
4. Work experience in the automotive parts industry
5. Graduated from an engineering-related major/engineering knowledge
6. Fluent English and Chinese, conversational Japanese (N2 or above)
7. Familiar with MS Office
