Introduction:

The role is chart out business Plan achievement Prepare, implement and achieve operational business plan and estimates for the efficient operation of the assigned region.

Work closely with the product development manager and the merchandise manager in the development and timely establishment.

Suggest price policy, have up to date calculations on the shoe categories and monitor the profitability (EBIT) of stores.

Responsibilities:

Budgeting, Control and Spending To arrange for necessary budget outlays available for business spending requirements.

To initiate measures for optimization of resources to control on expenses in all business areas with a particular focus on personnel cost and productivity.

Control expenses and see that expenditures are within approved limits, check weekly profit and loss account and take corrective actions.

Business Performance

Monitoring To review and monitor performance of all family stores in the designated region on ongoing basis to exercise control, issue necessary direction, uninterrupted support and corrective actions so as to enhance the efficiency of entire regional business value chain.

To ensure that there is an achievement of the required business growth over the previous year.

Merchandise Management

Overall responsibility of maintaining stock standard at or within the approved level, while at the same time ensuring proper supply at the stores.

Control over quality and age of merchandise and take action in regard to liquidation of seasonal merchandise or slow moving articles.

Market Intelligence and Strategy implementation

Visit competitors store and keep a tab on events occurring in marketplace so as to devise an appropriate strategy to excel in competition.

Visit the stores regularly for the purpose of planning market strategy, reviewing the status of stock and supply, discussing with shop managers and shop employees and finally the product.

Business Expansion

Provide leadership to achieve the aggressive growth of Business to enhance existing business % through opening new store as per agreed expansion plan, relocating and closing of unviable stores across region.

General Administration and Compliance

Responsible for ensuring all legal compliances in stores in the region

Ensure smooth implementation of all administrative policies

Establish and maintain an efficient system of administration in accordance with companys policies for the conduct of companys business and ensuring that its requirements and obligations are promptly and accurately met. Prepare and send general weekly/monthly reports

People Management

Hiring of appropriate staff Training of people on Product, Competitive products, Consumer and Operations Motivation and retention of staff Career Planning for high potential employees within the organization Proactive succession planning for key roles within the Business

Requirements:

Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management

Prior experience managing multiple stores and a proven track record of success are highly desirable.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

5.5 days work week 

reporting to Head of Retail

will have downline reporting to RM; 2 District Managers, 1 Business Analyst & 1 Retail admin

must be familiar in retail fashion industry

70% travelling to all 37 outlets, 30% office base
