Introduction:

Automotive Industry Salary: 220-280K

Responsibilities:

·         Direct, manage and monitor the overall plant operations with general responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.

·         Manage overall production to ensure on-time delivery including quality standards to meet the due date

·         Defines projects, schedules, and strategies to impact production cost, quality, and performance

·         Set long term goals and objectives for the facility in order to keep, anticipate and plan for future endeavors.

·         Develop, implement, monitor and achieve operational business metrics including Profit and Loss.

·         Ensure that all production activities comply with established safety requirements, laws and regulations

·         Direct continuous improvement activity to increase efficiencies and eliminate wasted resources

·         Monitor the workflow and inventory levels to ensure that schedules are met and bottlenecks are identified and corrected.

·         Work with planning, sales, quality, engineering and finance to ensure cooperative spirit, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are constantly driven forward.

·         Mentor and support production supervisors to develop and ensure a safe, capable and productive workforce

·         Calculate, procure, implement and monitor resources (labor, material & equipment) required to achieve production plans on time in an efficient and cost effective manner.

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelors or higher in related Engineering field or equivalent work experience

·         Minimum 10+year’s plant management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with oversight of plant operations and leadership of production lines.

·         Strong experience and understanding of plant wide operating budgets and performance and P&L reporting

·         Highly demonstrate ability to motivate people, assess, and develop employee skills with abilities to communicate and solve complex business problems, influence others and facilitate the resolution

·         Experience in utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles including Six Sigma, 5S – etc.

·         Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

·         Ability to work well with all levels of management, suppliers and customer base

·         Multi-tasking ability, strong and clear decision maker, a goal oriented individual
