A food company operating within the FMCG industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business performance targets for food products in Mainland China
2. Lead strategic planning and implement initiatives to capture growth opportunities and strengthen market presence
3. Manage and support distribution channels to maximize sales objectives and to achieve best market coverage
4. Drive and inspire the sales team to deliver profitable growth and expand the customer base in both existing and new markets
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals
6. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring trust, loyalty, and effective issue resolution
7. Identify and pursue new business development opportunities and enhance market penetration
8. Streamline workflows and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance team productivity
9. Partner with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that strengthen brand visibility and drive demand

Requirements:

1. University degree in a business-related discipline
2. Minimum 15 years of sales management experience, with at least 10 years in the China FMCG (food) industry
3. Proven experience managing diverse sales channels including key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
4. Strong background in key account servicing and networking, with established industry connections in China
5. Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams
6. Strong analytical and leadership skills; entrepreneurial, results-driven, and proactive mindset
7. Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and Mandarin
8. Frequent travel or station in China is required
