Introduction:

A sizable local transportation company is looking for Head of Operations / Operations Manager urgently.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage general operation of responsible depot(s), bus termini / interchanges and bus fleet;
2. Lead and manage the Operations Team to ensure their performance, on areas covering daily operations deployment, profitability, compliance, safety, staff management and customer service, meets the organizational goals and targets;
3. Maximize revenue and minimize costs whilst meeting the safety standard, customers’ needs as well as the service levels set by the Government;
4. Coordinate with other supporting departments to ensure the responsible depot(s) is well operating to the best interest of the company;
5. Motivate and develop staff to maintain an efficient workforce, and allocate resources within and/or outside the depot(s) to achieve optimal work efficiency and cost effectiveness;
6. Maintain a smooth and constructive communication with stakeholders, including Transport Department and District Councils to enhance their understanding of the Operations activities and collect their opinions and make recommendations for revising the Company’s strategies as appropriate;

Requirements:

1. Degree qualification
2. With at least 5 years experience in Operations Management for Transportation Industry
3. Strong interpersonal skills
4. Strong PC & langauge skills
