Introduction:

• Ability to: o Build / Configure / Manage Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 Servers including Active Directory and File Service o Build / Configure / Manage Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 o Build / Configure / Manage Windows 7, 8, 10 o Configure / Manage Office 365, migration experience a plus • Desired Knowledge: o Admin of VMWare and Hyper V environments o Network Topologies o Mac OSX o Administration of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop o Administration of Public Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) o Knowledge of Meraki WiFi and network devices o Market Data applications e.g. Bloomberg o Knowledge of SQL o Experience with Powershell Certifications Required: • Microsoft (MCITP, MCSE) • Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) SKills: • Ability to work in high pressure environments individually and as part of a team • Clearly articulate technology, troubleshooting, and solutions to a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical persons • Excellent Communication skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Field Engineer you will provide on-site support for multiple clients,

oftentimes visiting several central clients in one day. You will be exposed to

and work with multiple technologies and environments; and are responsible

for the support and maintenance of server, desktop, and network

infrastructure for high profile financial services clients. 

Provide technical support for desktop infrastructure and Servers

• Implement new server and desktop technologies

• Availability for out-of-hours support via an on-call rotation

• Provide client-facing technical support, and communicate in a timely

manner with clients per SLA and average response times

• Update tickets with current and thorough information

• Submit timesheets per the regional office requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years demonstrable 2nd/3rd line support experience in a

similar role (experience with a MSP is a strong plus)

• Financial services sector experience preferred

• Proven detailed knowledge and experience with the following:

o Microsoft Server, Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange

technologies

o Citrix XenApp and Xen Desktop

o SAN

o Firewall (Cisco ASA, IOS)

o LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/P

o Backup Solutions
