Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Deputy Plant General Manager to lead our Press Metal Plant's operations and production divisions. The ideal candidate will have extensive managerial experience in aluminum smelting industry. 

Responsibilities:

This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills to ensure the smooth running of our plant, which has a smelting capacity of 1.08 million tons and around 4000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategic Planning: Oversee the overall operations of the entire Operations and Productions Division and its divisions. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve short and long-term objectives. Establish and monitor KPIs for the Operations and Productions Division.

o Operations Division (HR Management, GMs Office)

o Production Division (Engineering Support, Casting, Planning, Anode Rodding, Electrolysis, Sustainability)

Resource Management: Optimize staffing and resource allocation within approved budgets. Maintain high levels of morale, productivity, and efficiency across the division.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with inetranl & external stakeholders and shareholders. Represent the company at CSR events, plant visits, and industry forums

Continuous Improvement: Implement systems for Standardization, Digitization, and Automation. Lead initiatives for Total Preventive Maintenance and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 15 years in a managerial role with aluminium smelting industry, managing similar size plant in terms of production capacity.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and English language.

Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.

Effective troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.

Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO

45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018) and the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI).
