Introduction:

My client, a listed company location in Tai Po and they are looking for Communication Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Communication Engineer is responsible for the 2nd level support-related issue, which acts as an interface between APT and customer, aiming at resolving the issue escalated from 1st level SAC Operation Engineer.
• Responsible for satellite payload management including frequency resources allocations, customer loading management (C-band / Ku-band / Ka-band), high Throughput Satellite (HTS) payload, gateway operation and RF monitoring.
• Responsible for post-sales customer service activities associated with interference troubleshooting, diagnosing RF uplink and downlink equipment problem and provide necessary technical advice for the customer to successful on-board their service on Apstar Satellites.
• Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots interferences via a range of diagnostic devices and techniques, including Satellite Link Budget, the use of Integrated Receive Decoder (IRD) and Spectrum Analyzer (Analog / Digital) in order to minimize the impact of the interference to the customer and provide prompt action to resume customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder or above, major in communication engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years’ working experiences in satellite communication industry.
• Experience in Spectrum Management is highly preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functional teams.
• Good writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
