Introduction:

My client, a logistics & freight forwarding company is looking for a candidate to join their Ocean freight team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for manage allocation with ocean carriers 
• Support VIP shipments by providing various ocean carrier options and protect these shipments from roll-overs
• Maintain and run the fulfillment management tool for daily operation and support urgent requests from clients / squads
• Assist the team leader to closely work with Ocean Freight Procurement Team regarding allocation planning
• Support the team leader create strategy and best practices for fulfillment management tool execution

Requirements:

• Degree holder
• 2 years shipping experience of ocean freight / logistics / shipping / NVOCC / trading companies.
• Experience in contracting carries for space allocation & pricing procurement or operations team or in a supply-chain role, hands on experience of Transpacific trade.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must
