Introduction:

A legal organization is seeking a candidate for the position of Professional Indemnity Scheme Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Handling internal and external insurance enquiries
• Liaising with the insurance broker in placing various insurance cover for the PIS
• Preparing agenda papers and reports for meetings
• Preparing investment and claims reports to the Board and/or the Council
• Assisting to prepare draft bilingual amendments to the Rules and any other relevant legislations
• Performing research on ad hoc topics
• Assisting on the PIS renewal

Requirements:

• University graduate preferably in Law
• Minimum 2 to 3 years claims or underwriting experience in insurance or legal environment
• Good English and Chinese writing skills
• Insurance knowledge and experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
