Introduction:

Our client, a well established Metal Trading Company is looking for a high calibre candidate to fulfil the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the documentation function to avoid L/C discrepancy. Ensure all banking documents are in order for presentation;
2. Ensure that the process on L/C terms are adhered to by the customers, follow up any outstanding payments and ensure L/C are properly and timely issued and discounted;
3. Supervise the assigned team in all aspects of trade execution;
4. Provide technical support (UCP 600 and market practice) to banks, customer services officer and documentation staff;
5. Allocate bank line for each transaction to achieve optimum use of bank line, cost effectiveness and L/C documentation efficiency;
6. Assist the preparation of cash flow forecast;
7. Ensure daily banking contacts are smoothly established;
8. Ensure workflow between documentation and Companys core banks are being operated in an efficient manner;
9. Assist the Finance Controller to negotiate and establish the best pricing with Companys core bankers;
10. Arrange Forex hedging with banks;
11. Arrange bank loan application and ensure adequate fund available for bank loan repayment;
12. Handle Statutory and Internal Auditor related to banking and treasury.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder;
2. Fluent English and Cantonese, Good Mandarin;
3. 10 years of management experience in handling shipping and L/C documentation for Commodities and Steel trading experience is highly preferable; And solid 

experience in Treasury is a must;

1. At least 3 years in supervisory level in multi-national trading business and international banking experience;
2. Strong in L/C document (UCP 600);
3. MS Office & experience in ERP system;
4. Team management skills, strong co-ordination, and communication skills.
