Experience in channel sales and distributorship is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall sales strategy within a healthcare company, specifically focusing on maximizing revenue through a network of distributors and channel partners, ensuring strong market penetration and customer satisfaction across the healthcare landscape by cultivating and managing key relationships with distributors and managing the entire channel sales operation to achieve strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Development:
Design and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies, identifying and selecting appropriate distributors, establishing sales targets, pricing models, and incentive structures to optimize market reach and profitability.
Distributor Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, providing ongoing support, training, and guidance to ensure they effectively promote and sell the company's healthcare products and services.
Sales Performance Oversight:
Monitor and analyze channel sales performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions to drive consistent revenue growth across the distribution network.
Market Analysis and Expansion:
Conduct thorough market research to identify new market opportunities, develop strategies to enter new geographic regions, and expand the customer base through distributor networks.
Partner Enablement:
Provide distributors with comprehensive training on product features, clinical applications, sales techniques, and compliance requirements to ensure effective sales presentations and customer engagement.
Pricing and Contract Negotiation:
Collaborate with the pricing team to establish competitive pricing strategies for distributors, negotiate contracts with key partners, and ensure compliance with pricing guidelines.
Sales Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of channel sales managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities to maximize their effectiveness.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure all channel sales activities align with relevant healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and company policies.
Ideally you have deep understanding of the healthcare landscape in Asia region , including market dynamics, key players, regulatory requirements, and clinical practices.
Extensive experience in managing and developing channel sales networks within the healthcare sector, including distributor recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with distributors, key decision-makers, and internal stakeholders.
Capability to develop and execute strategic channel sales plans aligned with overall business objectives.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and coaching.
Expertise in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and utilizing insights to inform strategic decisions.
