Introduction:

Our client, a well established Insurance Broker (MNC) is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing and supporting the compliance function in Hong Kong & US offices, including regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, data privacy, cross-border business, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with regulators (e.g. Insurance Authority) and regulatory bodies for inquiries, reporting, inspections or investigations.
• Identify applicable regulations, analyze external statutory and regulatory requirements and trends, and assess the compliance risks relevant to the business. Monitor regulatory developments and be aware of any regulatory requirement changes or updates.
• Develop and maintain proper controls, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice to business and operations to ensure awareness of relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification preferred.
• Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese.
• 7 years relevant experience (less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager).
• Strong understanding of insurance business and products, as well as knowledge of regulators guidelines, rules and regulations.
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders and all functions within local and regional countries.
• Positive can-do attitude, capable to work independently and manage the timeline, and a good team player.
