Legal Secretary (Conveyancing)
Introduction:
Our client, a local legal firm located at Wanchai is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Secretary or Clerk for their well-established Conveyancing team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial support to partners/solicitors
- Assist solicitors to handle mainly conveyancing matters (property & TA) and general legal files
- Able to handle conveyancing files independently with minimal supervision
- Following up on files, handling billings and daily correspondences
- Communicating with clients, coordinating among departments and teammates
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' solid experience in handling conveyancing matter
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and conversational Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel and Chinese Word-processing
- Good team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
- Responsible, meticulous, detail-oriented and well-organized
