Introduction:

International Trade and Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of international trade compliance, including import/export regulations, customs documentation, and adherence to trade laws. 
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures related to international trade. 
• Monitor changes in trade regulations and assess their impact on company operations. 
• Prepare and review import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance best practices. 
• Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory agencies to resolve compliance issues. 
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to maintain compliance with international trade laws. 
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate potential trade risks and penalties. 
• Stay informed about global trade trends and practices. 

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 3 experiences in international trade and compliance roles. 
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, export controls, and trade agreements. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. 
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Strong understanding of product export regulations, particularly to Malaysia and India. 
• Ability to travel abroad if required. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
