Executive Chef (Western F&B)
Introduction:
A well established Artisan Bakery & Western Food enterprise is fast expanding and earnestly hiring an Executive Chef. This role is a leadership position responsible for all culinary operations in F&B organisation . This role is to set culinary directions that is in line with the Company
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the culinary team across the Company and School to ensure high
- efficiency and standards of operations
- Develop and update departmental SOP Manual, detailing SOPs, Policies and Procedures and service standards pertinent to the efficient operation of the kitchen
- R&D of new products for stores and classes for school
- Conduct regular hygiene audits stores and ensure compliance to the local requirement of food hygiene and certification.
- Schedule and coordinate the culinary team to ensure manpower cost are within budget
- Identify market needs and trends in terms of food menus
- Interact with fellow management of other departments to foster and maintain effective working relations with them
- Work closely with HR for manpower requisition needs to ensure adequate manning for the Culinary operations
- Stay in tune with the concerns of team members and build an open and collaborative team culture.
- Assist and support any other relevant business duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Director and/or CEO.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years holding similar capacity,
- specializing in Western Cuisine
- Strong conceptual design and kitchen planning skills.
- Experienced in handling kitchen operations, with a strong focus in revenue generation.Someone with high energy and engaging personality.
- Team oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications.
- Experience managing multiple outlets in different locations
- Experience in training and developing a team to deliver consistent, friendly and high quality service5 days’ work week, including working on weekends and public holiday
