Introduction:

Our client is a hedge fund seeking a highly experienced Director of Investor Relations Specialist to join their team to assist in raising capital for their equity strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with institutional investors in the US and/or China

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to develop relationships and raise capital from institutional investors.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
3. Identify and engage new investors, leveraging your network to expand our investor base.
4. Prepare and present detailed investment proposals, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with company goals and objectives.
6. Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to inform fundraising strategies.
7. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our investment opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
2. 8 years of experience in fundraising and investor relations, with a focus on institutional investors and family offices.
3. Proven ability to bring in clients and secure significant investments.
4. Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Strong understanding of the US and Chinese investment landscapes.
6. Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
