Location: Rayong
The Data Generation & Electrical Standards Engineer will oversee the implementation and maintenance of equipment standards across installations and upgrades, including Manufacturing IT Systems. The role involves managing the knowledge and training of Digital Service/C&D personnel and developing solutions for data generation and analytics within tire manufacturing processes. This role is essential for improving efficiency and competitiveness in our production environment.
Implement and maintain Generic Technical Equipment Standards for all machinery installations and upgrades in collaboration with Manufacturing IT Systems.
Manage knowledge transfer and coordinate training programs for Digital Service/C&D personnel in the plant using the C&D skill matrix.
Develop, optimize, and support the implementation of standard digital service solutions for effective data generation and capturing from machines.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity measures and IPC management tasks.
Supervise the PLC Software Change Management process, authorizing and documenting all changes to control and manufacturing systems.
Organize and implement standard C&D systems and tools, ensuring effective usage within the plant.
Lead training events for C&D and electrical staff and ensure communication between local personnel and central organizations.
Provide second-level support for breakdowns and ensure innovation and expansion within manufacturing IT systems.
Drive the identification and implementation of business use-cases for Data Collection and Analytics, aligning with the tire business manufacturing strategy.
Provide technical first-level support and develop knowledge transfer modules for team competence in data provisioning.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.
3-5 years of C&D engineering experience within the production industry, ideally with a focus on digitalization.
Knowledge of the tire manufacturing process and experience with automation, data acquisition, or Big Data projects.
Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, project management, and programming (Step7 and TwinCAT).
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a technician team.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
