Introduction:

In this Compensation & Benefits Manager role, you will strategically manage and develop the organization's compensation and benefits programs. You will liaise with external vendors and benefit brokers to resolve employee inquiries and claims, and oversee the enrollment and administration of new hires into benefit programs. A key part of your role will involve proposing cost-effective program design changes and collaborating with the Welfare Committee and other departments to gather insights and develop initiatives for enhancing existing compensation and benefit offerings. You will be responsible for conducting salary and benefits benchmarking surveys, and overseeing the total compensation review process, including annual salary reviews and performance bonus allocations. Furthermore, you will develop and issue procedures and work instructions, ensuring their implementation and maintaining robust controls. You will also play a crucial role in promoting awareness and ensuring regular Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) training, responding to ESH incidents, and initiating preventive measures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with vendors and benefit brokers to resolve employee inquiries and claims.
  2. Facilitate the enrollment and administration of new hires into benefit programs.
  3. Propose cost-effective benefit program design changes.
  4. Manage all employment verification requests.
  5. Collaborate with the Welfare Committee and other departments to gather insights and develop initiatives for enhancing existing compensation and benefit programs.
  6. Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking surveys.
  7. Oversee the total compensation review process, including annual salary reviews and performance bonus allocations.
  8. Develop and issue procedures and work instructions, ensuring their implementation and maintaining robust controls.
  9. Promote awareness, ensure regular Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) training, and provide information on ESH responsibilities and duties.
  10. Ensure immediate notification and response to ESH incidents, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards.
  11. Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and actively motivate others to uphold ESH standards.


Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing compensation programs.
  2. Extensive experience with HR systems reporting, HR processes, and project management.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and database management.
  4. Demonstrated experience and maturity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  6. Ability to anticipate potential challenges and proactively propose solutions to a variety of problems.
  7. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  8. Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow-through on issues.
  9. Proficiency with SAP and web-based compensation and talent management tools is a plus.
  10. Experience with salary surveys (e.g., Mercer) is a plus.
  11. Experience working in a multinational technology organization is a plus.
