Introduction:

This role is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automated material handling systems within the tire manufacturing facility. This role focuses on ensuring efficient material flow, minimizing downtime, and improving overall logistics performance through advanced control and drive technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Transfer knowledge to all Electricians (Craftsmen) in order to ensure best maintenance practice for controls and drives systems.
2. Support the startup of new equipment and ensure on electrical production equipment Control and Drive standards.
3. Interact with supplier to maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
4. Maintains professional and technical Control and Drive knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
5. Train and participate to the evaluation of electricians in the area.
6. Maintain an updated Control and Drive documentation in the area (electrical plants, troubleshooting guide,etc. ).
7. Protection, Creation of Backups and Maintenance of control system software, such as IPC's, PLC's, Drives, Communication Devices, etc.
8. Ensures a proper diagnostic of electrical problems, repair and restart of production machineries of the area of responsibility in case of breakdowns.
9. Manage Control and Drive equipment spare part in cooperation with Purchasing Department.
10. Ensures the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (focusing on Maintain ME and including SAP PM, interfaces with other departments.
11. Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties.

Requirements:

1. Master's or Bachelor's Degree of Electrical Engineering , Automation Engineering or other equivalent field.
2. 2-10 years of Controls and Drives experience in the manufacturing industry, if possible in the field of conveying systems and optionally High bay storage systems / AGVs
3. Experience in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade or installation projects
4. Has participated in Maintenance, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
5. Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC programming, Step7, TIA Portal, Siemens Servo Drive, Automation Network, WinCC, Beckhoff PLC, SAP, and PM.
6. Assertiveness with international contacts through projects, colleagues, and external suppliers
7. Ability to read the electrical drawing
8. Good at communicating in English.
