Business Development Executive

Location Flexibility: Preferably based in Rayong, Thailand, but open to other Southeast Asian locations with a willingness to travel as required.
THB 250k - THB 350k

Introduction:

The Business Development Executive role is responsible for new and existing business growth within the Industrial and Mining sectors (OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer), Data Centre Cooling and Power Generation market segments for heat transfer systems (heat exchangers). Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Achievement of sales and financial targets
  • Prospect and generate new customer enquiries
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts 
  • Develop commercial offers/proposal/contracts and quotes, as required 
  • Follow up and negotiate as required to point of order placement
  • Actively participate in the development of business improvement strategies
  • Monitor competitor pricing, designs and industry related trends 
  • Understand customer requirements to assist in developing the appropriate technical solution for their needs.
  • Represent the company at sales and trade conventions

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be driven and motivated to achieve sales growth. You will be effective in planning, prospecting and influencing commercial outcomes through your extensive knowledge of the product coupled with strong experience in sales. You will be professional and proactive bringing the following knowledge and experience to the role:

  • A minimum of 5 -10 years experience in similar sales and business development within a similar industry selling industrial products such as Industrial Manufacturing, Engineering, Mining, Data Centres or Power generation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English is essential)
  • Prior experience of conducting cold calls on targeted and qualified customers
  • Computer and accompanying software literacy and capability
  • Ability to present and to communicate concepts effectively 
  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally
  • Mechanical Engineering background (formal/trade degree)
  • Willingness to work out of office and/or from home
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
