Introduction:

AN top tier IT solution business is seeking for a Experienced Account Manager

Responsibilities:


Strategic Business Development and Account Management:

  1. Independently manage and oversee a portfolio of key/major accounts with minimal supervision
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to maximize revenue and margin growth
  3. Build C-level and executive relationships within client organizations
  4. Act as trusted advisor to clients on technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives
  5. Conduct quarterly business reviews with line manger
  6. Identify strategic partnership opportunities and long-term account development plans

Revenue Generation & Business Development:

  1. Own and exceed substantial annual sales targets
  2. Drive complex, multi-solution sales cycles involving network, security, infrastructure, and cloud solutions
  3. Identify white space opportunities and expand wallet share within existing accounts
  4. Develop new enterprise accounts within target verticals (financial services, government, large corporates)
  5. Lead RFP/RFQ responses and proposal development for large-scale projects
  6. Negotiate high-value contracts and master service agreements


Account Operations & Governance:

  1. Manage complex project delivery with cross-functional internal teams
  2. Ensure account profitability targets and operational excellence
  3. Handle escalations and resolve sophisticated client challenges
  4. Maintain detailed account plans and opportunity pipelines
  5. Provide accurate revenue forecasting and business intelligence to leadership


Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of proven B2B technology sales or account management experience
  2. Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales quotas in IT solutions/enterprise technology
  3. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure: network architecture, cybersecurity solutions, server/storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
  4. Established network within Hong Kong’s financial services, corporate, or government sectors
  5. Track record of closing high value deals valued and managing large enterprise accounts

Skills & Competencies:

  1. Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen
  2. Exceptional executive presence and C-level communication skills
  3. Advanced consultative and value-based selling capabilities
  4. Expert negotiation skills for complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  5. Strong solution design and technical aptitude (able to engage with IT/CTO teams)
  6. Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and business case development skills
  7. Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and accountability
