Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Software Project Manager to be the first in this role within the company. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and refining project management practices that will drive the success of software development projects. Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Implement Frameworks: Create and deploy a robust project management framework to equip software teams with effective task estimation and execution tools.

Collaboration & Alignment: Partner closely with technical team leads to ensure alignment of new development and features with the companys strategic objectives, ensuring efficient delivery on a weekly release cycle.

Task Estimation & Scheduling: Accurately estimate and schedule tasks for software development teams, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.

Quality & Timeliness: Ensure that all software development projects meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.

Long-Term Planning: Oversee long-term project planning, including time tracking and schedule monitoring, to ensure projects stay on course.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring smooth project execution.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in project management within a software development environment, with a preference for AI/ML experience.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in both Scrum and Kanban.

Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, etc.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex project dynamics.

Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Background in enterprise software development is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in software development or data analysis projects.

Hands-on involvement in projects related to AI/ML.
