Introduction:
Our client is a well-known automotive company .
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly business unit statements, financial review information and annual business unit budgets and assist business unit managers in the financial planning processes
- Together with management, hold monthly business reviews with each business unit
- Understand and support implementation of cost control, job costing and forecasting systems
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
- Provide analysis and support to business unit managers to ensure understanding of business unit statements and financial implications of business decisions
- Perform monthly divisional profit/revenue recognition, develop and analyze monthly cost reporting
- Investigate profitability issues and forecasts changes
- Maintain balance sheet and sub ledgers and manage inventory accounting for the specific business units
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ relevant experience as a Controller or similar role
- Experience in manufacturer is strongly preferred
- Professional accounting designation, or working towards a professional accounting designation
- SAP expereince
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and excellent verbal and written communications
- Advanced experience with MS Excel
