Introduction:

Our client is a well-known automotive company .

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly business unit statements, financial review information and annual business unit budgets and assist business unit managers in the financial planning processes
• Together with management, hold monthly business reviews with each business unit
• Understand and support implementation of cost control, job costing and forecasting systems 
• Assist with internal and external audits as required
• Provide analysis and support to business unit managers to ensure understanding of business unit statements and financial implications of business decisions
• Perform monthly divisional profit/revenue recognition, develop and analyze monthly cost reporting
• Investigate profitability issues and forecasts changes
• Maintain balance sheet and sub ledgers and manage inventory accounting for the specific business units

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ relevant experience as a Controller or similar role
• Experience in manufacturer  is strongly preferred
• Professional accounting designation, or working towards a professional accounting designation
• SAP expereince
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and excellent verbal and written communications
• Advanced experience with MS Excel
