Introduction:

Industry: Chemical / Automotive Manufacturing Location: Pluakdaeng, Rayong Working Days: Monday – Friday Salary: THB 70,000 – 90,000/month We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Assistant Manager to manage warehouse and logistics operations for a global chemical manufacturing company serving the automotive industry. This role is suitable for someone who has hands-on SAP experience, strong warehouse and logistics knowledge, good English communication skills, and the confidence to manage a team and work closely with global colleagues.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.
2. Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse performance using SAP WMS/EWM.
3. Coordinate and manage 3PL / logistics service providers, including performance, KPIs, service quality, and logistics costs.
4. Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety standards, trade regulations, and relevant legal requirements.
5. Prepare for internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are completed on time.
6. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
7. Work closely with internal departments and external logistics partners to ensure smooth daily operations.
8. Communicate and coordinate with global / regional teams on logistics and supply chain matters.
9. Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the warehouse and logistics team.
10. Make timely decisions, take ownership of operational issues, and ensure problems are followed through to resolution.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Direct hands-on experience using SAP WMS/EWM is required.
4. Experience managing 3PL / outsourced warehouse or logistics operations is preferred.
5. Good understanding of warehouse safety, inventory control, trade compliance, audits, and corrective actions.
6. Good spoken and written English with the confidence to communicate with international and global teams.
7. Strong people management and team leadership skills.
8. Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
9. Confident in making decisions and taking responsibility for results.
10. Proactive, practical, and able to solve problems independently.
11. Comfortable working in a Western-style corporate environment with an international team.

The successful candidate should be someone who can take ownership, manage people effectively, communicate confidently in English, and work independently.

You should be comfortable dealing with both local operations and global stakeholders, able to make decisions when issues arise, and willing to take responsibility from identifying a problem through to finding and implementing a solution.
