Introduction:

Location: Muang, Rayong Salary: 70,000 90,000 THB

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), including physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes.
2. Monitor and analyze wastewater quality parameters to ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
3. Optimize treatment processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance effluent quality.
4. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the WWTP.
5. Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
6. Lead or participate in projects related to WWTP upgrades, expansions, and process improvements.
7. Work closely with operations, maintenance, and environmental teams to ensure seamless integration of wastewater treatment processes.
8. Stay current with advancements in wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
3. Familiarity with local and national environmental regulations related to wastewater discharge.
4. Experience with wastewater treatment equipment, such as pumps, clarifiers, filters, and aeration systems.
5. Proficiency in English.
6. Knowledge of SCADA systems and data acquisition for wastewater treatment plants.
7. Experience with wastewater treatment process modeling and simulation.
8. Certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator is preferred.
