Introduction:

Location: Rayong, Thailand

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular plant rounds and continuously monitor all critical utility systems, including boilers, steam turbines, cooling towers, water treatment plants (WTP/DM), air compressors, and effluent treatment plants (ETP).
2. Collect and analyze real-time field data (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and effectively communicate observations and any abnormalities to the Shift In-charge.
3. Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of steam/gas turbines, condensers, feedwater systems, cooling towers, and all auxiliary utility equipment.
4. Analyze process data from the field to identify inefficiencies in utility generation and consumption, and actively implement corrective actions to optimize energy usage.
5. Support and execute startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling of utility units strictly as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
6. Verify field equipment status during interlocks, trips, or maintenance activities.
7. Resolve on-site technical issues promptly, applying strong problem-solving skills to ensure operational continuity.
8. Assist maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns, isolation, and restoration processes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical) or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 3-7 years of hands-on field experience within utility systems (boilers, turbines, water treatment, cooling towers, air compressors) in a power plant or chemical/petrochemical industry.
3. Strong practical understanding of utility process operations, equipment functionality, and control principles.
4. Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and design documents.
5. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with various teams and stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving ability with a quick response to operational challenges
