Introduction:

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities of the companys equipment in assigned accounts and territories in Japan and Korea. The targeted equipment is glass processing machines used for cutting, drilling, grinding, edging, milling, polishing, tempering, and other processes involved in shaping and finishing glass products. The equipment can also extend to the tooling used for such machines, such as cutting tools, polishing wheels, and diamond drills. Such responsibilities include but are not limited to, cold calls, prospecting, qualifying, closing, and maintaining post-sale relationships. The Territory Sales Representative is also responsible for maintaining all administrative requirements such as call reports and CRM updates.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales of all Biesse brands (i.e., Forvet, Intermac, and Movetro) through our exclusive dealer in Japan and, on an interim basis, through our exclusive dealer in Korea.

Directly manage the sales of Bavelloni machines in the Japanese market.

Oversee the sales of Diamut and Bavelloni tools in the Japanese market, with Diamut tools sold through dealers and Bavelloni tools through direct sales.

Work in close collaboration with the Technical Application Manager, a specialist in machinery and its applications in the market.

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager based in Japan to effectively promote Biesse and its portfolio.

Prepare action plans and schedules to increase sales volume in the territory.

Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities, trade shows, etc. o Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.

Maintain sales materials and up-to-date product knowledge.

Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.

Prepare various status reports, including activities, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. o Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activities to appropriate company staff.

Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars, including some held abroad.




Requirements:

Language(s): Japanese (native), Business English (required), Korean (added advantage).

Mandatory: Proven experience in the glass industry;

Preferred: Familiarity with machinery used in glass processing, such as waterjets and machining centres, particularly in the construction or automotive sectors;
