Summary: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects, primarily within the electrical sector. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, and client relationships, as well as overseeing administrative tasks and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Project Planning & Execution:
o Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones
o Oversee budget development, cost tracking, and progress billing
o Manage change orders and ensure accurate cost reporting
o Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
o Manage material releases, field measurements, and labor/delivery schedules
Client & Stakeholder Management:
o Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective customers
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities
o Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries
o Prepare and distribute comprehensive meeting minutes
Administrative & Documentation:
o Manage submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation
o Maintain an organized repository of construction documents
o Code invoices for accounts payable and route communications
o Support the development of departmental policies and standards
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
3-10 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical construction
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
OSHA 30-hour and CPR training preferred
Experience working in data center environments is beneficial
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
