Senior Overseas Purchasing (Machinery and Spare parts)
Responsibilities:
- Manage suppliers and oversee each project's delivery.
- Sourcing new vendors and supplier management.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate the risks associated with job acquisition.
- Take care of all component and basic material needs.
- Reduce the expense of each project and optimize the cost of each project.
- Prepare a report on purchases.
Requirements:
- Five years of experience in international procurement and procuring
- Experience managing the purchasing group.
- Solid familiarity with procurement and negotiation procedures
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Flexible, patient, and solution-focused
- Accuracy and focus on detail.
- Possessing the ability to communicate in Japanese is an asset.
- MS Office applications (Words, Excel, and email) and ERP software proficiency.
- A systematic approach
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with others.
