-Develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives.
-Conduct market intelligence activities to assess sourcing risks, supplier capabilities, and new opportunities.
-Collaborate with management on procurement budgeting and key performance measures.
-Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and service.
-Build long-term supplier partnerships while resolving performance issues and ensuring on-time delivery.
-Drive supplier performance improvement through reviews and audits.
-Lead contract negotiations, focusing on favorable terms, risk minimization, and long-term value creation.
-Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contract compliance and dispute resolution.
-Maintain an accurate record of agreements and procurement documentation.
-Supervise daily purchasing operations including purchase orders, delivery tracking, and documentation control.
-Develop standardized procurement procedures to support internal control and efficiency.
-Ensure purchasing activities align with company policies and audit requirements.
-Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to optimize stock levels and material availability.
-Implement inventory tracking systems and demand planning tools.
-Identify cost reduction opportunities and negotiate volume deals to drive procurement savings.
-Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
-Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations and training sessions.
-Promote a results-driven culture focused on integrity, agility, and innovation.
-Monitor compliance with procurement regulations, ethical standards, and ISO9001/ISO13485 standards.
-Conduct internal audits and ensure proper record-keeping.
-Stay updated on global trade policies and import/export regulations.
-Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Minimum 10 years experience in a purchasing leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
-Experience with international trade and dealing with overseas suppliers.
-Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO13485 quality standards.
-Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.
-Effective communicator with fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
-A proactive, ethical, and accountable leader with a strong business mindset.
-Experience in overseas training or cross-cultural environments is a plus.
