Introduction:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing financial system development and implementation projects across the Asia region. This role requires strong leadership in project execution, coordination among multiple stakeholders across countries, and proactive management of risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage the Asia regional financial system projects including but not limited to resource management, risk management, and issue management.
2. Lead, review, control and report the entire project cycle including develop project plan and schedule, mange the cost and quality of works, prepare documentations
3. Effectively communicate project matters to all levels of stakeholders
4. Engage with project governance on project performance and change management matters
5. Mobilise the project team in Hong Kong and offshore, and to supervise the work and performance of all project team members
6. Lead & control the project related risk management process & ad-hoc tasks as assigned
7. Overseas business trips to other Asian countries are required.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Business, Computer Science or related is preferred
2. At least 10 years’ working experience in bank / financial industry with proven experience in handling multimillion projects; Knowledge of securities or market-related business is a plus.
3. Acts proactively and takes initiative and is flexible and open-minded, without being bound by specific methods or past practices.
4. Communicates actively and takes ownership in building effective relationships.
5. Excellence in written and spoken in English; Knowledge in Japanese and Chinese will be an advantage.
6. Strives to understand others’ perspectives and emotions.
7. Embraces new challenges without hesitation.
