The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process within an automotive parts manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all production activities are carried out efficiently, meet quality standards, and adhere to company deadlines. The Production Manager will manage teams, monitor production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and continuously improve processes to meet customer demands and business objectives.
-Lead, plan, and coordinate all production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
-Develop and implement production schedules and ensure that production deadlines are met.
-Oversee the maintenance and operation of all production equipment, ensuring machinery is running efficiently and safely.
-Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the production facility.
-Monitor and control inventory levels, material usage, and production costs to optimize profitability.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, procurement, and logistics, to improve overall production efficiency.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process optimization techniques.
-Manage and mentor production team members, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and accountability.
-Analyze production data and metrics to identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
-Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and customer specifications (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
-Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding production performance, challenges, and improvements.
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
-10+ years of experience in production management, preferably in the automotive or automotive parts industry.
-Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems.
-Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and improve production efficiency.
