Introduction:

Logistics Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the overall transportation operations for customer accounts within the assigned area.
2. Provide high-quality transportation services to meet customer needs while maintaining and strengthening business relationships.
3. Lead and manage a transportation team to ensure process effectiveness, including resource management, performance monitoring, occupational health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality control.
4. Develop and implement transportation business strategies, considering their direct impact on organizational objectives and overall business results.
5. Make effective business decisions and provide recommendations to prevent loss of partnerships and ensure the success of the transportation operations.
6. Take full responsibility for budgeting, managing P&L statements, and ensuring efficient cost management within the transportation scope.
7. Plan, direct, contribute to, and coordinate transportation operations within the designated area of responsibility.
8. Identify and analyze customer service and transportation-related challenges, developing and implementing solutions to improve transportation management effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
2. At least 10 years of experience in Transportation Management.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership and management roles.
4. Strong background in planning, budgeting, and managing 3PL operations.
5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. Strong negotiation skills to resolve issues and make swift decisions under pressure.
7. Strategic thinking with excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
