Introduction:

Location: Muang, Rayong, Thailand Salary: 120,000 - 140,000 THB

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive reviews of basic and detailed engineering for instrumentation.
2. Collaborate with all engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
3. Verify and recommend corrections using the latest technologies, in compliance with regulatory and land laws.
4. Manage and communicate the regulatory requirements pertinent to projects effectively.
5. Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from concept to commissioning.
6. Lead and manage diverse teams, including both direct and indirect team members.
7. Define clear roles and responsibilities within the team to ensure efficient operations.
8. Mobilize contractors for construction and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
9. Ensure adherence to safety practices as mandated by Thai law.
10. Maintain a strong focus on executing projects with high quality.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrument Engineering.
2. 8-10 years of relevant experience, particularly in Greenfield or new chemical/petrochemical plant setups.
3. Experience in a multinational company setting is preferred.
4. Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
5. Flexibility to work 6 days a week, with alternative Saturdays post plant setup.
6. In-depth knowledge of DCS, PLC, instrumentation systems, and engineering drawings (P&IDs).
7. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
8. Familiarity with statutory and regulatory norms.
9. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to travel and work in remote locations as required.
11. Experience with Greenfield or large Brownfield projects, and with the SAP PM Module.
