Introduction:

You will be a key engineer at a major continuous manufacturing plant in Rayong. Your main responsibility is to ensure the reliability and safety of all mechanical systems. You will lead the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of large capital projects, up to 150 Million THB, making sure they finish on time and meet strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing Construction & Site Safety (High Priority)

1. On-Site Supervision: Oversee all mechanical installation, structural work, and piping construction on a daily basis.
2. Quality & Safety: Ensure all work meets design specifications and enforce the company's global EHS (Safety) standards strictly, especially when working with external contractors.
3. Solving Problems: Quickly identify and resolve technical and logistical issues on the construction site to keep the project moving forward.
4. Documentation: Review and prepare safety analysis documents (JSA) and detailed work methods.

2. Mechanical Reliability & Maintenance

1. System Uptime: Monitor plant equipment and develop strategies for continuous improvement to prevent breakdowns.
2. Planning: Help review and manage the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) schedules.
3. Analysis: Investigate equipment failures, find the root causes, and implement long-lasting corrective actions (CAPA).

3. Technical & Resource Coordination

1. Technical Compliance: Interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and ensure adherence to industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM).
2. Resource Management: Coordinate daily material deliveries, inventory, and manage the allocation of contractor manpower and equipment efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Education:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Experience: 8 to 12 years total experience in Construction Management or a Heavy Manufacturing Plant environment.
3. Project Focus: Must have at least 2-3 years experience working on large-scale new plant construction (greenfield) or major industrial projects.
4. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting, plus experience using SAP system. Familiarity with industry quality codes (NDT) is essential.
5. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with contractors and all internal departments (a must for project success).
6. Work Operation: Must be willing to work 6-days per week.
7. Other: Must be willing to work primarily on the project site during the construction phase and be open to travel if needed.
