Introduction:

Location: Muang, Rayong

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, supervise, and monitor instrument maintenance activities in the chemical plant using available resources to meet targets.
2. Conduct calibration of instruments and control valves to maintain accuracy.
3. Implement modifications, installations, or engineering projects through DCS/PLC systems.
4. Develop plant engineering management skills through system upgrades and improvements.
5. Manage material requisition, procurement, and inventory for maintenance activities.
6. Support plant startup, changeover jobs, and shift operations.
7. Maintain documentation for ISO standards and audit compliance.
8. Lead troubleshooting efforts for PLC systems, burners, and instrumentation, providing support to shift technicians.
9. Conduct and record calibration activities, ensuring standards are met.
10. Manage and procure spare parts, perform lifecycle analysis, and maintain critical spares.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
2. Experience: 8-10 years in maintenance of field instruments in chemical manufacturing plants.
3. Project Experience: Greenfield or large brownfield projects experience is an advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of DCS and PLC systems (logic development, installation, maintenance).
5. Proficiency with PID control, communication protocols, SAP, and advanced MS Excel skills.
6. Familiarity with process instrumentation, control valves, and regulatory standards.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Troubleshooting aptitude and continuous learner mindset.
9. Willing to work 6 days per week, using own vehicle for travel.
10. Good command of spoken English.
