Introduction:

Location: Bangkok Salary: 35,000 – 65,000 THB We are seeking a motivated Procurement Engineer (Chemical Background) to manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier relationships, and import/export coordination to support business operations efficiently and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage procurement activities for raw materials, chemicals, packaging, equipment, and services.
2. Source and evaluate new suppliers and products to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
3. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
4. Coordinate import/export operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and customs requirements.
5. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
6. Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective procurement support.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
2. 1–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Commercial functions.
3. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
4. Good English communication skills (TOEIC 550+ preferred).
5. Experience with import/export processes and supplier management is an advantage.
6. Experience with Oracle ERP and/or Power BI will be a plus.
