Introduction:

Industrial Engineer (Lean)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee machine efficiency using OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and TEEP (Total Effective Equipment Performance), compare performance with other entities, report to management, and define a plan for continuous improvement.
• Monitor production efficiency (Standard Tires per man-hour), benchmark with other organizations, report to management, and define a roadmap for improving efficiency.
• Ensure efficient flow of people and materials while focusing on ergonomics and creating a 5S-compliant, attractive workplace.
• Develop a growth plan for plant production capacity to meet current and future demand, working closely with the Supply Chain Management teams.
• Actively participate in the Global Industrial Engineering (IE) community to share successes and bring insights from other plants and central teams to the local organization.
• Lead the Plant Rolling Investment and Capacity Planning meeting to define a 5-year roadmap, considering future supply/demand and new technology advancements.
• Be the key user of IE-related systems for tasks like cycle time settings, investment tracking, and human capital planning/tracking.
• Help create and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Be a key driver of 5S standards on the shop floor, ensuring organization and cleanliness.
• Utilize tools like data analytics to identify and lead workshops for improvement opportunities in the areas above.

Requirements:

• Masters degree or Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related field
• Minimum 3 years in Tire production or Manufacturing
• Manufacturing processes of Tire industry process optimization
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methods/ KAIZEN
• Knowledge of Methods of time study (REFA/ MOST/ MTM)
• Ideally had exposure to international projects or worked in a cross cultural environment
• Good command in English
