  2. Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering challenges related to machinery and production systems for powdered materials, ensuring long-term solutions and preventative measures.
  3. Develop, plan, and execute engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and strategic objectives, with a strong emphasis on projects designed to optimize production and solve recurring issues.
  4. Oversee and improve maintenance strategies, focusing on the specialized machinery used in the processing of bulk, dusty materials.
  5. Collaborate closely with the production team and other relevant departments to integrate continuous improvement practices and ensure seamless, efficient, 24-hour manufacturing operations.
  6. Serve as a key driver in establishing and enhancing engineering systems and technical know-how within the organization.
  7. Manage and mentor a team of project engineers (10-20 individuals), fostering their technical skills and continuous professional development.
  8. Demonstrate flexibility to work in rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and provide support on holidays as operational needs dictate.
  9. Effectively manage urgent situations and perform under pressure, demonstrating strong problem-solving and adaptable time management skills.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a closely related field).
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role focused on continuous improvement or project management.
  3. Proven experience managing high value engineering projects , with a strong preference for projects aimed at problem-solving, process optimization, or efficiency improvement.
  4. Extensive experience and in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes involving bulk, powdered materials (e.g., animal feed, sugar, cement, gypsum, or similar dusty industrial environments).
  5. Demonstrated experience with machinery common in the processing of powdered materials, including Crusher, Cooler, Boiler, Dryer, Bucket, Hammer Mill, Pin Mill, or various Mill types.
  6. Experience working in 24-hour continuous manufacturing and packaging environments with rotating shift systems.
  7. Proven experience in managing and developing engineering teams.
  8. Ability to adapt and contribute significantly in an environment where existing systems and technical know-how require development and establishment.
