Our client is one of largest engineering solutions company in process refrigeration, gas compression system integrator with global operations. This role Aftersales Service Manager require with technical capabilities in Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Screw and Reciprocating compressor types in oil & gas industry.

Are you an experienced and customer-focused leader with a passion for aftersales excellence?

We're seeking a Global Aftersales Service Manager to lead the aftersales service team across our diverse international territories, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.


Based in Singapore, Asia, this pivotal role is responsible for ensuring efficient service operations, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving aftersales revenue through effective scheduling, coordination of service activities, and strategic management of spare parts sales.

You'll collaborate closely with Service Managers in Korea, Switzerland, the USA, Thailand, and other key locations to deliver exceptional front-line support to our global customers.


Lead and Develop:

Guide and manage the aftersales service team, including technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Vendor and Procurement Management:

Build strong relationships with vendors, develop costings, coordinate procurement, and manage tender bidding and documentation specifically for customers in Asia and the Middle East.

Customer Relationship Management:

Establish and nurture robust customer relationships, proactively addressing service needs and concerns to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Revenue Generation:

Partner with the sales team and customers to identify and capitalize on opportunities for spare parts sales and service contracts. Ensure all warranty claims are processed accurately and in accordance with agreements.


Operational Excellence:

Develop and implement effective service schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

Oversee the timely and efficient execution of all service and maintenance activities.

Maintain meticulous records of service activities, customer interactions, and spare parts inventory.

Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance service efficiency and quality.

Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Team Development: Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the service team.

Field Support: Travel as needed to customer locations globally to provide direct support and build strong customer relationships.

Hands-On Assistance: Provide hands-on technical support when required to resolve complex issues and support the team.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

Relevant certifications in equipment maintenance and repair are advantageous.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a technical service or aftersales support role.

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Proven track record in managing service operations and spare parts sales.

Experience with compressors and rotating equipment is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Proficiency in diagnostic tools, service management software, and inventory management systems.

Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain customer relationships.


Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.

Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary

Experience in aftersales services, including commissioning, spare parts and Service experience on gas compressor systems, and need be experience in Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Screw and Reciprocating compressor types in oil & gas industry
