Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all water supply and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
2. Control and monitor water quality, wastewater discharge, and treatment processes to meet legal and environmental standards.
3. Plan, operate, and improve water treatment systems (e.g., RO, softener, filtration) and wastewater treatment processes (e.g., biological, chemical, physical systems).
4. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of treatment equipment, utilities, and related infrastructure.
5. Develop and implement SOPs, preventive maintenance plans, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
6. Monitor system performance, analyze data, and prepare reports on water usage, treatment efficiency, and environmental compliance.
7. Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and engineering teams to ensure adequate water supply and proper wastewater handling.
8. Ensure full compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulatory requirements related to water, air, and waste management.
9. Lead environmental audits and inspections, ensuring readiness for both internal and external audits.
10. Manage and supervise team members, including training and performance evaluation.
11. Control operational costs, chemical usage, and resource consumption for optimal efficiency.
12. Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders regarding environmental compliance and reporting.
13. Promote environmental awareness, sustainability practices, and safety within the organization.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment systems, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
3. Valid license/certification for pollution control (water, air, and waste) is required.
4. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment systems (e.g., RO, EDI, biological treatment, sludge management).
6. Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards and audit processes.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues.
8. Leadership and team management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
9. Good communication skills in Thai and basic to intermediate English.
10. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
11. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with monitoring systems or SCADA is a plus.
