Senior Project Buyer (Grid and Renewable Energy)
Introduction:
Our client, specialized in advanced technology battery solutions for industry (French MNC) is looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing (identify supplier, coordinate qualification, price negotiation/T&C, accountable for cost impact)
- Manage Suppliers includes onboarding, initiating Supplier qualification, Supplier data maintaining, etc.
- Lead commercial qualification of all suppliers of the region to ensure they are qualified at all time
- Manage and develop the validated Regional Target Supplier Panels including the qualification aspects
- Define contractual plan (e.g. General Terms & Conditions, Price Lists) and ensure implementation for Regional Target Suppliers
- Define inputs for tendering purposes (e.g. costing, solidity, firming, and regional target panel)
- Support to deliver against tender price with the regional suppliers
- 13 months salary + Performance bonus
- 14 days Annual Leave

Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- 10 years of Purchasing or Procurement related experience in a manufacturing environment (related to Grid and Renewable Energy)
- Solid related experience in Grid and Renewable Energy
- MS Word, Excel, spreadsheet techniques
- Sound understanding of business principles with comparative quantitative and communicative skills
