Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions at the new facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up HR frameworks in new plants and be well-versed in Thai labor protection laws. You will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse workforce, facilitating communication between the plant and expatriate regional HR team, and representing interests within local government departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives tailored to the new plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with Thai labor protection laws and regulations.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain a high-performing workforce.
• Manage employee relations and foster a positive organizational culture.
• Serve as a liaison with government departments on labor matters.
• Prepare and present HR reports to the expatriate regional HR and global team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize proficiency in English for effective communication, and third-language skills will be a plus.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience as an HR manager, preferably in a new plant setup or similar environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people effectively and foster teamwork.
• Strong connections and credibility with local government departments.
• Experience working with international companies and understanding of global HR practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
