Introduction:

The Client: A MAS-licensed Digital Bank in Singapore looking for energetic and dynamic individual to join this dynamic team to grow together with the team. This Role in a team of 5 reports to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities:

•      Responsible for head office financial reporting, operational/transactional accounting and closing of general ledger within timelines.  
•      Review the digital bank business financials to ensure compliance with accounting policies and correct presentation & disclosure. 
•      Assist in the preparation of the local financial statements of the digital bank. 
•      Maintain, review and update of accounting schemes in the core banking system. 
•      Liaise with external auditors on year-end audit and ensure all submissions are provided within timelines. 
•      Participate in user acceptance testing in relation to new system implementation and system upgrades.  

Requirements:

•      Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
•      Extensive years of experience in banking industry or within Big 4 accounting firms specializing in audit of banks.
•      Good understanding of FRS accounting and disclosure requirements applicable to the banking industry. 
•      Good written and verbal communication skills.
•      Team player.
•      Able to read and speak Chinese (good to have)
