Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing and managing all SHE functions for a new manufacturing facility in Rayong. This position requires a professional who can ensure robust safety practices from the construction phase through to ongoing plant operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in developing and executing the site-specific EHS management plan.
  2. Prepare the Health & Safety budget and monthly SHE plans.
  3. Ensure full compliance with all applicable safety laws, rules, and regulations.
  4. Control and manage safety protocols for both existing plant operations and ongoing construction activities.
  5. Conduct regular SHE audits and safety observations, utilizing findings to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Establish and maintain suitable emergency procedures and equipment for incidents like fires and spillages.
  7. Oversee accident investigations, review accident statistics with management, and implement corrective actions for health, safety, and environmental concerns.
  8. Provide essential SHE training and education to employees and contractors, including emergency response procedures.
  9. Collaborate with contractors to ensure a safe workplace, and that all machines and equipment are safe for use.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety officer or occupational health and safety role, preferably within the chemical plant or manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Thai occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in Thai and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  5. Ability to register as a Safety Officer at a Professional level as required by Thai Law.
  6. Experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Audits.
  7. Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and SHE management systems.
  8. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software.
  10. Must possess a valid Driver's License and ability to drive.
